John McCain's Death and CNN twists the story to be about Trump (Can't they let it go for a few days?)
I saw Former Massachusetts Governor John Sununu being interviewed on CNN. It blew my mind. He was talking about Senator McCain and telling personal stories and it was all good.. Then, at the 4:00 mark,Ms. Camerota decided it was time to ask him what he thought about President Trump's "rejecting" putting out an official White House statement.. She quoted the Washington Post and he said he didn't believe it. Then she told him CNN's people verified it and he kinda rolled his eyes..(CNN has had a few anti-Trump stories that had to be retracted.) She was mad as a wet hen!!! She spent the last 5 minutes of a 10 minute interview trying to get Sununu to condemn President Trump.. She was obviously offended that this old-school Republican didn't want to bad-mouth a sitting President and only wanted to speak well of his FRIEND. This was the purpose of the interview as he understood. She got more mad and by the end of the interview, her cheeks were flushed and the old man had a little smirk on his face.
Why can't we all just get along?
I understand that emotions run high on both sides of the aisle, but couldn't the CNN reporter Camerota, who is supposed to be a JOURNALIST, just interview the man for what he was asked to come talk about? Instead, she insisted they talk about how bad Trump was behaving by not putting out an OFFICIAL WHITEHOUSE statement!
I think we should all look at ourselves from time to time and see if we have been that hateful to anyone with which we have disagreed. If so, that person has an apology coming. ADULTS should be able to disagree about politics without having that much anger. I make a point to never use personal attacks and if the person I am debating is starting to get angry, I try to change the subject. Emotion has no place in politics.
I found the clip on youtube so you can judge for yourself.
Camerota vs Sununu interview/debate And if you doubt that CNN has some issues, Anonymous Official channel has a pretty good video up entitled, "CNN Busted". You can't help but watch it and snicker.
