At my laptop

   I was recently reading an interview of a pediatrician  telling about a pre-pubescent boy  who approached his parents and told them he was "trans" and really wanted to be a girl..     His parents loved him dearly and took him to the Doctor and the doctor recommended a psychiatrist.  After a few months of counseling, the root cause came out..   "You love girls more than boys."   You see, in the year prior to his "coming out", he had a baby sister born who was special needs. Mommy and Daddy were focusing their attention on her, naturally, and he didn't understand that she NEEDED the extra attention. All he knew was that they "didn't love him as much" as they did her.      This boy wasn't trans. But if his parents had immediately bought dresses and dolls instead of  getting him the counseling he needed, his life would have been even more messed if he ever decided in high school that he was straight....

I saw Former Massachusetts Governor John Sununu  being interviewed on CNN. It blew my mind. He was talking about Senator McCain and telling personal stories and it was all good.. Then, at the 4:00 mark,Ms. Camerota decided it was time to ask him what he thought about President Trump's "rejecting" putting out an official White House statement.. She quoted the Washington Post and he said he didn't believe it. Then she told him CNN's people verified  it and he kinda rolled his eyes..(CNN  has had a few anti-Trump stories that had to be retracted.) She was mad as a wet hen!!! She spent the last 5 minutes of a 10 minute interview trying to get Sununu to  condemn President Trump.. She was obviously offended that this old-school Republican didn't want to bad-mouth a sitting President and only wanted to speak well of his FRIEND.      So here I am. At my laptop. This is  my first ever blog post.  I'm feeling nervous, yet excited. I hope you all enjoy my posts. I am VERY opinionated. I will piss you off. I do it to everybody. Conservatives call me a Liberal and Liberals call me a Conservative. I like to think that tells me I am in "my spot".  I don't have to agree with  you to be your friend. We can just concentrate on what we have in common.. For example, I don't buy into the "globalclimatechaneywarmey" thing, but I DO support alternative energy FOR THE INDIVIDUAL. I do not support granting Big Energy money to build windmills.        I support REAL, not government-approved, organic farming practices. Why, you ask? Because they are better ECONOMICALLY. Its actually cheaper to use compost over chemical fertilizers.     I am Athiest. I support a Christian baker's right to not make a gay-themed cake.  I think its silly for a...
